With over 35 years experience in the real estate business, our portfolio has steadily grown over the years. The Shalom Group began with investments in retail and office projects and our portfolio now includes over 10 shopping centers ranging in size from 8,000 to 20,000 square feet and office/ warehouse projects ranging in size from 1,500 to 365,000 square feet in El Paso, Texas. The Shalom Group only manages properties in which we have a vested interest, so we take great pride and extra care to insure that our properties are well maintained and that our property management is responsive to our tenants' needs. This broad expansion and management philosophy has offered significant opportunities for our tenants as well as the investors in the projects we manage.

Tanny Berg
Mr. Tanny Berg has been an active commercial real estate developer and investor for over thirty years. A resident of El Paso since 1952, Mr. Berg received his Bachelor of Business Arts Degree with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1970 and immediately joined Jack Berg Sales Company, an international importer and distributor of electronics, founded by his father, the late Jack S. Berg, in 1952.Through the last thirty years, Mr. Berg owns or is a partner in Berg Properties, Berg Investment Company, Baruch Properties LP, B/W Joint Venture, Micropartners LP, Micropartners West LP, The Shalom Group LP, and EP Shalom LP, which entities control many shopping centers, office parks, hotels, industrial developments, and downtown redevelopment projects in El Paso, Texas.In addition, Mr. Berg has been very active in various civic and not for profit associations. He was a founder and past chair for 16 years of the Central Business Association, a downtown consortium dedicated to urban revitalization, as well as past chairman of the board of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the El Paso Child Crisis Center, Las Palmas Medical Center of El Paso, and Unite El Paso - to name just a few organizations. In addition, Mr. Berg is serving or has served on the governing or advisory boards of KCOS Public Television, the El Paso International Airport, the El Paso Tax Increment Financing Board, the City of El Paso Industrial Bond Advisory Board, Wells Fargo Bank Board of El Paso, the El Paso/Juarez World Trade Center, the El Paso Downtown Management District, the El Paso Times Advisory Board, the Rio Grande Girl Scouts Council, the Children's Trust Fund of Texas, the UTEP Alumni Association, and IHS Hospital Corporation in El Paso as well as many others. Mr. Berg has been interviewed on the "MacNeil/Lehrer Report" news program on PBS and has been quoted in the national publication "The Economist" on business issues relating to the border. Mr. Berg was also a founder and past chair of the El Paso Hebrew Day School, past president of Congregation B'nai Zion in El Paso, and on the National Board of Directors of the United Synagogue of America. In 2002, Mr. Berg was named the United States Small Business Association's Regional Small Business Advocate of the Year.

Jorge Salom Jr.
Jorge E. Salom, Jr. is a native Paseño and a proud graduate of Cathedral High School. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Politics with a double Minor in Philosophy and Theology at the University of San Francisco, he joined Salom Investments; a real estate company evolved from a business venture founded in the 1960's by his father George Salom and uncles Anthony Salom, and the late Mike Salom. In 2000, he founded 88 Investments, Inc. a real estate company specializing in T.V., radio, and other communications. 2001 saw the creation of EP Shalom LP with Tanny Berg, as well as The Shalom Group. Mr. Salom is an active member of St. Patrick Cathedral Christian Community, a board member of El Paso Pro-Musica, and other civic and charitable organizations at the local and international level. Through business and social engagements, Mr. Salom is committed to developing and creating an El Paso/Juárez one can be proud to call home.

Elliot Berg
Elliot Berg comes to the Shalom Group with a Juris Doctor from Pepperdine School of Law and a BA from the University of Southern California. As a state licensed attorney in the state of California, and a member of the California Bar Association, Elliot maintains his own legal practice - focusing on business startups and new business ventures. In conjunction with his legal profession, Elliot pursues a portfolio of business initiatives including the development and ongoing management of ventures in the printing, fundraising, retail, and entertainment sectors.

Elliot brings a keen strategic and management acumen to The Shalom Group table. His vast experience and skill set afford The Shalom Group solid new business development and sound management expertise. Elliot stewards all of The Shalom Group's commercial activities and provides the guidance and infrastructure for ongoing operations.
